The rental trip starts in the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and ends at Quartzite River Access point after passing through the historic village of Pilar. Scheduled departure times are 10 AM and 2 PM. This is a very scenic unguided trip. Here, the river is enclosed by 700′ high basalt cliffs, with lush river banks. This is considered a Class 2 (as easy as rapids get) section that provides a bit of a challenge.

-$106 for a double funyak.
-Rentals are NOT available for use on the Racecourse, or other Rio Grande runs.
-Rental agreement and Release of Liability of Forms are required.
-Funyakking is NOT for everyone and requires some athletic ability. If you are over 250 lbs. or in poor physical condition you may find it impossible to sit comfortably in a funyak.
