

Kathy Miller, President and Founder of New Wave Rafting Co. She is the mother of two and grandmother of two. She is a Level 3 Certified Ski Instructor, working at Taos Ski Valley in the winter. She is an all-around outdoor gal, also excelling at fly fishing, rock climbing, kayaking and back-country skiing. Her most recent loves are tending her orchard and raising chickens.
Steve Miller is the Vice-President and Founder, with his wife Kathy, of New Wave Rafting Co. He is the father of one and grandfather of three. He holds a Master Degree in Anthropology from Harvard University, has published a book of photography on rafting the Grand Canyon (newwaverafting.com/TheGrand), is a former Outward Bound instructor and is currently the President of the New Mexico River Outfitters Association.
Britt Huggins is the Operations Manager and Official Photographer and Videographer of New Wave Rafting Co. He began his career with NWRCo. in 1983. He has done all sorts of things in his life, and all of them well, including kayaking, snowboarding and rock climbing. He is a PADI certified dive instructor, often spending the winter at some Caribbean get-away.

Mike Boren has been with NWRCo. since 1988. He was an Army Ranger in his former life, and has been designated the Santa Fe Man of the Year for disarming a robber at his favorite Santa Fe hang-out, the Zia Diner. He is also an expert at river rescue and recovery.

Karen House has been with NWRCo. for over 15 years. She has a Masters Degree in Wilderness Therapy and runs her own counseling business, which has included counseling soldiers returned from combat duty. She also created a catering business for expeditionary raft adventures. She is a true Renaissance woman.

Ron Whitney has been with NWRCo. for over 10 years. He grew up in Florida and loves to fish.

CJ Robison has been with NWRCo. for over 5 years. She is also a licensed massage therapist and currently works at Ojo Caliente Spa.

Joe Cameron has been guiding on the Rio Grande for over 10 years. He is the father of 4 and teaches skiing in the winter at Taos Ski Valley.

Orlando Torres has been with NWRCo.since 2007. He teaches snowboarding at Taos Ski Valley in the winter, and makes fantastical jewelery.

Ben Rainchild started with NWRCo.in 2010, and has already distinguished himself as the "go-to-guy" around here. He can build or fix practically anything. He's also a mountaineer and rockclimber and he has just completed construction of the first New Wave climbing wall. He's also infectiously enthusiastic, as can be seen in his photo.

James Shinas began with NWRCo. in 2010. He is a pilot and just finishing building his own plane.

Jason Pfeifer had a long career as a rafting guide before joining NWRCo. in 2010. He is also a licensed Life Coach and ski instructor at Taos Ski Valley in the winter.
